Peanut Butter Maple Cookies

Peanut Butter Maple Cookies are the kind you can easily do in no time. Both the preparation and the baking time is super quick. You can substitute the peanut butter with almond butter or any other nut butter you'd like. You can also mix more than one type, for example half peanut butter and half almond butter or cashew butter. The sweetness of the Maple with the saltiness of the nuts, creates a rich texture that is loaded with protein and energy. Great as a healthy snack for your sweet tooth😊

 

 

Ingredients: 

1 1/2 cups peanut butter or any other nut butter

1/2 cup gluten free oat flour

3/4 cup pure maple syrup

2 tablespoons chia seeds

 

Directions: 

Heat oven to 350° F

Take a baking sheet and line with a parchment paper. 

Add all the ingredients to a food processor. 

Mix until combined. 

Take the smallest size ice cream scoop and create an evenly sized cookies.

Take a fork and a cup of water. Dip the fork in the water to prevent it from sticking and press on the cookie to make an indentation, you can make the indentation once or criss cross, like it shown in the picture.

Bake in the oven for about 10 minutes, or golden brown. 

let it cool completely before serving.
