Zaatar- Spiced Almond Flour Bread
I am keeping my diet not only vegan but mostly gluten free and this bread saves me! It is by far the most tasty bread and the easiest recipe to make! I am literally addicted to this flavor and texture. It is so so good and versatile! Low carb too and high in protein. You can add any nuts and spices that you like. Be creative. Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups almond flour
1/2 cup gluten-free oat flour
1/2 cup psyllium husk
1/3 cup flaxseed meal
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups water
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

Directions:
Heat oven to 375 F
Line a baking sheet with a parchment paper. set aside.
Take a mixing bowl and add almond flour, oat flour, psyllium husk, flaxseed meal, baking powder,
baking soda, and salt. Mix and set aside.
In another bowl add water, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. Mix with a whisk.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well. Let it sit for about 20 minutes.
pour the dough onto the baking sheet and shape it into a bread shape or pour it into a loaf pan. Sprinkle the zaatar spice-mix or your favorite topping on top and bake for an hour and 10 minutes.
Let it cool completely before slicing.
You can slice it once it’s cooled and store in a ziplock bag in the freezer. Toast the bread when ready to eat.
