Tahini Chocolate-Chip Banana Bread
I have so many banana bread recipes but this one is very different than the ones I usually make…
Its texture is rich and thick from the tahini, super flavorful and so satisfying.
It is high in protein from the tahini and great as a healthy grab-n-go snack/breakfast.
Ingredients:
3 large bananas, mashed
1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup gluten-free flour blend
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips - optional
Directions:
Heat oven to 375 F
Take a loaf pan and grease with olive oil or coconut oil.
Take a mixing bowl and add the mashed bananas, tahini, pure maple syrup, vanilla extract, and mix well.
Take another mixing bowl and add the gluten-free flour blend, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, pinch of salt, and mix well.
Gradually pour the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix constantly until well incorporated.
Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes, until golden brown.
Let it cool completely before removing from the pan.
Store in the fridge in an airtight container.
