Spirulina Truffles
Sprirulina is a type of algae that is incredibly high in protein and a great source of antioxidants.
It is loaded with nutrients, and anti inflammatory properties.

Those truffles are nothing but good stuff! Super tasty. Keep them in the fridge or freeze them. They are an excellent treat for the entire family.
Ingredients
2 cups seedless dates
1 cup raw pecans
1/2 cup tahini paste
Zest of 1 orange
1 tablespoon cognac
According to research spirunila improve immunity and help fight cancer, Also known to reduce cholesterol, lower chance of stroke and boost energy levels.
You can add a teaspoon powder to your daily smoothie and enjoy the benefits on a daily basis.

3 tablespoon water
1 tablespoon Spirulina powder (or more)
Topping:
Hemp seeds
Cocoa powder
Directions
In a food processor add all the ingredients and process until very smooth. Take 2 bowls. Add cocoa powder to one and hemp seeds to the other. Wet your hands and use a teaspoon as a measuring tool to create the truffles. Dip in the hemp seeds or the cocoa powder, until you are done with the rest of the paste. Keep in air tight container in the fridge.
Yields: 45-50 truffles
