Date Syrup (Soft) Biscotti
Those yummy, no added-sugar biscotti, you can make soft or hard like the traditional ones.
They are good either way. By "Soft", I mean that I didn't double baked it after slicing.
I did mine soft and it is so delicious! You can toast it before you eat, and spread your favorite jam, and it is just heaven! Simple recipe. Just a few ingredients. Healthy and gluten free. I think it's a good one. Even as a grab-n-go snack or with your coffee. Satisfying your sweet-tooth with a healthy and guilt free snack.
Ingredients:
2 cups gluten free oat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 cup date syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
2 tablespoon coconut oil
Directions:
Heat oven to 375° F
Take a bowl and add the oat flour, baking powder, cinnamon and walnuts. Mix.
Take another bowl and add the date syrup,vanilla extract, boiling water and coconut oil. Mix.
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, and mix.
Pour into a greased loaf pan, and bake for about 25 minutes.
