Banana Bread With Spelt Flour And Chocolate Chunks
This is a great banana bread! A good breakfast / snack option.
The fact that there is no white sugar in this recipe, and the flours are spelt, and almond, make the bread super healthy and you can enjoy without a guilt!
The bread comes out very moist and decadent.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups spelt flour
1/4 cup almond meal
1 teaspoon falxseed meal
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup almond milk
3 mashed bananas
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup vegan chocolate chunks
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 F
Grease a loaf pan.
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl except the chocolate chips.
Mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl.
Pour the dry ingredients slowly into the wet ingredients and mix until combine. Add the chocolate chips and mix.
Bake for about 40-50 minutes, until golden brown and completely set.
Insert a toothpick and check if it comes out clean and dry, it's ready.
Let it cool before serving.
